I am pleased to share with you the exciting news of establishing our new initiative, the Oxford Staff Centre Of Professional Excellence (OxSCOPE), dedicated to enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees across various campuses of the OBC. I am profoundly committed to employee professional development, fostering a positive work environment, and aligning the College mission and strategic goals with individual aspirations.

As the founder of OxSCOPE, I am truly honoured to be part of a visionary College that values the growth and development of staff and provides opportunities to all, including myself, to use and enhance my skills, knowledge and ideas; as a result, I have established OxSCOPE.

I welcome and support everyone to be part of this journey towards empowering our college community with the skills and knowledge needed for personal and professional growth.

Our vision for OxSCOPE is to create a dynamic learning environment that nurtures talent, fosters innovation, and encourages a culture of continuous improvement. Through cutting-edge training programmes, coaching and mentoring, workshops, and seminars, we aim to equip our staff with the skills, knowledge, management and IT tools and expertise required to excel in their roles and embrace new challenges for the growth and success of the College.

The OxSCOPE is a great way to support staff by helping them creating their own professional development plan for success and an ideal way to assist their line manager in supporting that journey.

We are confident that OxSCOPE will benefit the College from increased productivity and team cohesion, contributing to an improved bottom line and business growth.When employees see professional development, they are more engaged in their role, feel happier, and are more likely to stay. So, demonstrating to our people that we care about their future not only improves employee productivity but also retention.

OxSCOPE uses different methods (exercises and psychometric testing) to identify individuals’ strengths and areas of improvement (weaknesses) in our teams. We will then work with you to establish the skills, knowledge and behaviours you need to develop further and create a realistic path (professional development plan) to success.
