COURSE OVERVIEW

This Foundation Degree in Tourism and Events Management will
provide you with an engaging and effective learning experience to
develop your understanding of the Tourism and Events sector, including
contemporary issues such as Governmental strategies, managerial
approaches, skills shortages, and equality and diversity.

Students

achieving the FdA in Tourism and Event Management will be equipped
with knowledge, skills, and behaviours to make a contribution to these
sectors whilst preparing graduates to progress to Level 6 study either
at OBC in collaboration with its partners or another HEl providing
subject related top-up degrees, should they choose to do so.

Provide you with an academic and vocationally oriented curriculum that establishes a firm understanding and knowledge of the sectors.

Provide a flexible and supportive learning environment and a variety of learning tasks and approaches to enable you to develop your knowledge and understanding of the sectors.

Provide a varied range of academic and practical teaching, learning and assessment strategies related to the Tourism, and Event sector. Provide you with sector specific employer links including guest speakers, sectors related visits and placement opportunities.
