BA (HONS) BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

In the foundation year, the student is thoroughly prepared for the degree course. The focus is placed on helping the student develop subject knowledge & the full range of study skills required to complete the degree. 

In the year ONE, students learn about the fundamentals which serve to form the required base for the study of business management. Core modules include finance, marketing, contemporary business environments, HR, leadership, and management skills.

In the year TWO, students gain a more strategic understanding of business issues and get to examine some of the current challenges facing business managers.

In the FINAL YEAR, students are expected to integrate, apply and evaluate the knowledge gained through their dissertation or consultancy project. With the modern-day business environment constantly in a state of flux, there is an ever-increasing emphasis on leadership skills.

The dissertation or the consultancy project remains the key focus in the final year, aiding the students to earn specialisation in their area of interest. Its value gets underlined at the time of graduation, allowing the students to showcase their particular areas of expertise at job interviews.

The course lays emphasis on boosting students’ critical faculties to enable them to better assess complex real-life problems. To further that objective, the course provides practical exercises to apply the acquired understanding in real-world scenarios.
