The Centre for Applied Research and Entrepreneurship (OxCARE) was established with the vision to provide a unique platform to the students & academic team of the Oxford Business College. Equipped with research expertise & resources, the OxCARE offers research methods training and high-level project supervision. The students get the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge to the real business world.

Our academic colleagues conduct comprehensive research on topical issues. During one such research on the impact of the COVID19 pandemic we involved small and medium-sized companies to address their problems with our research findings. The lessons emerging from the research served to inform our teaching practises thereby ensuring that the students benefited from up-to-date knowledge at the college’s disposal.

Through its research and consultancy services, the centre also provides cutting-edge solutions to both private and public organisations. We organise research sessions, seminars, workshops, conferences, and events to cater to the needs of students, researchers, and the business world.

For expansion and growth, the business world remains heavily reliant on research. All organisations irrespective of their sizes broadly have a common set of goals which include satisfying customers’ needs, expanding to new markets, increasing market shares, minimising operating costs, improving the quality of their products and services, and increasing organisational efficiency.
