Digital Media Executive
Location : Oxford/London/Slough
Oxford Business College is looking for a digital media professional with a proactive, creative and business-minded attitude. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels and how they sit in the overall marketing mix, as well as strong planning, organisation, numerical and prioritisation skills.
The details are as below:
- Manage social media channels (including youtube) and campaigns in association with Content Manager
- Implement plans for better engagement of students and target audience and generate leads/conversions through digital platforms
- Plan and Manage specific, timely campaigns, including digital marketing/ad campaigns, email marketing with predefined RoI and alignment with broader marketing plans
- Produce and present weekly/monthly analytics and reports of digital marketing, budgets, insights to the Head of Media
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside vendors/service providers, agency, content/marketing team for post calendar and content
- Manage the leads from social media platforms and liaise with admissions team for lead generation and management
The ideal candidate should have:
- A University Degree, preferably in marketing, communications or PR
- Strong background in a similar role with 3-5 years’ experience in handling multiple high profile digital campaigns at different platforms
- Excellent insight into best practices in social media, up to speed with social trends and creative formats, should have a natural knack for content, from TikTok to Twitter
- Good understanding of social media tools, knowledge of SEO, Google Search Console and social management tools (like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout), analytics and reporting tools
- An excellent working knowledge of Excel, and confidence in data reporting
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload, i.e. good timekeeping
- A team player, able to network across the college and establish relationships with other teams
