Access to English Project
Oxford Business College offers free English classes through its “Access to English Project” to students who experience a barrier in accessing Higher Education, especially those in first, or second generation immigrant households. There are many benefits and outcomes of the programme including:
- Providing access to additional educational facilities in the locality, enabling more people from disadvantaged communities to participate.
- Enabling students to access academic and vocational programmes which may not have seemed possible to students and their families, allowing them to pursue their chosen careers with confidence.
- Providing information on British values and principles to young people who may be vulnerable to radicalism and extremism.
