With advanced degrees in Manufacturing Management & Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, and Humanities, Richard has built a distinguished career uniting industrial practice with academic innovation. He has held prominent roles, including Assistant Vice-Chancellor at the University of Bolton and Provost at Bradford College, where he championed student experience initiatives, led strategic curriculum advancements, and forged impactful international partnerships. 

Currently serving as a freelance consultant, Richard supports industrial research and academic reviews while mentoring students in global programmes like TEDI London and collaborating with institutions such as Coventry University and Swansea University.
