Dr. Ruqaiya Javed

Research Associate; Editorial Board Member

Dr. Ruqaiya Javed is a Research Associate, Editorial Board Member (International Journal of Private Higher Education) and a Psychologist. She has an experience of 8 years in psychological research. She also gained a one-year teaching experience as a visiting faculty in a private HEI (B.A. Hons-Psychology).

She has formerly worked on the intrinsic motivation and learning engagement of mature students in HEI’s across south London and assessed the persuasive power of social media in mature students’ behaviour through ANN (Artificial Neural Network).

She has more than half a dozen published papers in various journals to her credit. Moreover, she is knowledgeable and well-versed in research methodology, sub-cognitive modalities (neurolinguistic programming, sub-cognitive counseling skills, graphology, etc.), quantitative data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science), R Studio and other software such as AMOS and Process, qualitative data analysis (text mining), Machine Learning, Artificial Neural Network, psychological surveys and assessment, developing and standardizing psychological scales/measures.

Role

Research Associate:
Contributing to the writing of reports, manuscripts (Education, Psychology, Business Management and Organisational Behaviour), and regulatory documents that summarise the research findings; and drawing inferences from the results obtained.

-Performing extensive literature searches, reviewing abstracts and journal articles and assessing existing psychological instruments/tools.

-Performing all aspects of research tasks allocated by the supervisor and other research team members.

-Conducting aspects of qualitative and/or quantitative psychology and business management research to appropriate standards, with support from more experienced team members.

-Scientific Report Writing; Reporting research findings that benefits educational psychologist, and other practitioner professional related to academics for the upliftment and support of higher education students.

– Quantitative Data analysis for large data sets.
